We went to the lab and our teacher demonstrated us that group 1 is an alkali metal since it has little valence electrons.
As the number of electron shells increased, the more reactive the alkali metal is when it is reacted with water.
The most reactive metal : Francium
Went to search a video on alkali metals with water. The Francium fucking blew up the bathtub and so did Rubidium. Lol.
Today, Mrs Tan only reacted the potassium and sodium in water since the other group 1 metals are too reactive.
