Checkpoint.

Things have changed, but I'm still continuously adapting to my environment.

Recently, I just moved into a new neighbourhood. Mixed feelings about this but I'd definitely move back to my old neighbourhood if I could. The only good thing about here is that I finally get t have my own personal space, my own room. Besides that, I get to gym and swim conveniently.

Imo, my old neighbourhood still beats in everything.

I really dislike the people here and the increment amount of time I have to travel is just too much for me to handle. But I guess I'll get used to it when time comes.

Second.
Had a fulfilling internship experience during this summer. Location of my office was a few mins walk down from my current apartment. So I guess, that's one of the perks? But its a short term perk. I guess if I am going to work in the ops and tech department, moving here isn't such a bad idea after all.

I used to want to work in banks because of their prestigious names, but I was lucky enough to land myself this internship, given my current GPA standing, it's almost impossible to get such an internship. On top of that, I wasn't given the role to just redesigned the intranet's department UI, I also get to experience the role of a BA. It's really interesting cus that was what I had a partial interest in even before I entered SMU. Counting my blessings now, I'm really lucky to have this internship, if somebody didn't pull out.

Because of this internship, I know what I want. As retarded as it may sound like, who the fuck would want to work in ops and tech, all the money is in the front end office, but I really like working backend. I hope to work in the middle end tho before I really settle myself in the backend. Or I can just work at any Fintech companies. Thinking back, I used to want to be an air stewardess cus I didn't had any clue on the kind of jobs I want. I'm just glad that I know what I want and I have to work really hard towards it.

Honestly, I thought I was gg t be a goner when I entered SMU SISS. Come to think of which, I'm actually quite glad I got into the course. Years down the road, I'd definitely tell my kids to study IT.

Ok this draft has been here for quite some time. Procrastination is realzzz
